The Thinking Chair

Be just like Steve and Blue

Cover a chair with special red fabric. Place several easily recognized items on a tray like blocks, spoon, blue's clue toy, crayon, etc.

Gather the children in a circle around the thinking chair. Show them the tray with all of the items. The first player will sit in the thinking chair.

You will leave the room with the tray, remove an item off of the tray. When you return with the tray can the player in the thinking chair guess what's missing?

Keep playing until all of the children have had a turn.
